Keep in mind rules are subject to change, and D&D is a constantly evolving experience. It should be noted these rules really only apply for D&D 5e, and D&D 2024 in the world of Telorn.
AND BEYOND!
Let’s set some ground rules! You’re gonna be using D&D Beyond for almost everything, so make sure you familiarize yourself with it, at least during this process.
THE NO NO CONTENT
Sometimes, even I don’t know what WoTC are smoking when they design content, so I have to tweak things. So, in the world of Telorn (and character creation), the following things are banned:
– Lucky (Feat)
– Tough (Feat)
– 2014 Counterspell (Spell)
– Silvery Barbs (Spell)
– 2014 Bear-Totem Barbarian (Sub-class)
– 2024 Paladin (Class)
– Goblin Bards named after Utensils.
ABILITY SCORES
So, your ability scores are pretty dang important, but how do you determine them? Well, you’re gonna use a fun rolling strategy called 73-81! Basically, you roll your stats using the !randchar command with the Avrae bot on discord. If those stat totals exceed 81, or do not match 73, you scrap it. You roll until you have 3 stat blocks that fall into those criteria. Put em’ wherever your hearts content, this ones on the house.
Oh, and another thing, you can only take an Ability Score Improvement on your first ASI/Feat offering!
(The one that’s usually at level 4)

SO WHAT DO I DO?
